First of all, it's hard to believe we have been living here that long!! But it took that long for me to get a tour of the underground from el hubby! :). I have many more pictures but they will have to wait until we get back in the states to post.... better Internet! :) Less than two weeks until "I'm leaving on a jet plane..."!! Wahhh-hooooooo!!!!!!
This is a rock that was found in the Big Gossen mine. It was found before Chris' time. Weighs in around 60 lbs. It is housed in the main office building in Tembagapura. Pretty neat!

Gavin is walking to school with an open book in his hand!! He claims he wasn't reading, only keeping it open with his thumb as a book mark, but I beg to differ! I think we may have found a series of books that he likes to read! Finally! ;) PS. No he is not carrying a bag of garbage with him to school... it's clothes to give away... ;)
Yesterday a friend came over with her two adorable kids and they wanted to play in the river up from our house. So we let them! It only lasted for 20 minutes... the water was FREEZING! Oh well, the kids had fun and none got hypothermia! ;)
A few kids from the national school, YPJ, came by to wash Chris' truck to raise money for their end of school year party. It's good to see that kids still can do manual labor to raise money! And they did a great job! :D
