So today, Chris and I decided to take some time for us, leave everyone behind, and go on a date! A lunch date, because we have a lot of family in town for a graduation party on Friday and tonight is going to be busy.
We went to a restaurant in Mobridge, that I had not eaten at since I was a kid. It was a nice quiet lunch where we got to actually sit and talk to each other! ;) I did not get a picture of that.... Can you believe it?!?!?!?
Now, we are at a loss of what to do with ourselves ... like most couples, who have been married for a LOOOONG time, who have some "free" time on their hands. (We soooooo don't want to go home!!) So we decided to take a little trip down memory lane and and head out to the casino. If you don't know, a casino is where Chris and I met. I was a black jack dealer... He was looking for a HOT date!! LOL!!!
Chris hates gambling but he goes along with my plan. We each grab $20 and find the penny slot machines. I give him strict instructions that he MUST bet the full bet limit because that's how you WIN!! So we play our twenty bucks and have a fun time and a few laughs.
Then we really open our pocket books and went all out! We treated ourselves to a Dairy Queen ice cream cone!!!
It was one of the best dates I've had in a long time!! Yah, we don't go on many... ;)
So here's to 20 more years of more of the same... the laughs, the frustrations, the journeys, the kids... well, no more kids... ;) the love...

Yup, MEEEEEEE!!! I hit a BIG one!!! $400 in one shot! On penny slots!!! :D
Ok, I had to take a few pictures showing off... LOL
Thank goodness they don't give you pennies any more out of the slot machine!! I got a printed out voucher instead! ;)
